Paleo Treats

The White Lion Baking Company, a grain-free bakery based in Brookline, creates savory and sweet baked goods made with almond flour that can enhance your paleo lifestyle. Since no grains or refined sugars are used in their products, they fit into the paleo diet and provide what you’ve been missing at meal time: a bun for your sandwich, a dinner roll, or crackers to munch on as a post-workout recharge.  They use grass-fed unsalted butter, coconut oil, and olive oil and avoid processed vegetable oils. They also create cookies, cupcakes, muffins and celebration cakes that are made with almond or coconut flours, that are high in protein, high in mono-unsaturated fats, low GI, and much lower in carbs than conventionally-baked items so they won’t spike your blood sugar.

White Lion will be here at CrossFit Southie on Monday, July 11 at 7:00 PM sampling and selling a selection of their primal treats…buns, biscuits, crackers and cookies.
