Southie members! I keep hearing about how everyone is going to compete in these Garage Games coming up in September. Have you signed up yet?? This is going to be a big event and spots will sell out fast. There will be a scaled and a RX level for CFNE’s opening event. Please don’t wait! I want to have Southie competitors in every heat. The Again Faster Garage Games Northeast Series.
The Series is a three event series opening on September 24th with the CFNE hosted New England Firebreather Festival, followed by a team event hosted by CrossFit Milford, the New England Team Throwdown on October 22 and 23rd. The New England Finals, finale event will be held at CrossFit Southie in Boston on November 12th and 13th!
The events will all accommodate RX and Scaled as competitors not only vie for top honors in each event, but also to best the rest and finish the three event series at the top of the pile. Each event will be ranked equally with the best overall placement after three events walking away the overall series winner! The Northeast series is part of The Again Faster Garage Games 2011 event series, and allows athletes an opportunity to battle for the overall Southeastern $10k prize as well with all three Northeast events counting towards the required seven.
Judges will be Garage Games series judges, insuring the best quality judging across the board. With all the bases covered, these three competitions will provide competitive opportunities for the best CrossFitters, as well as ample opportunity for beginners to test their skills in a large scale competitive environment, but with the comfort of knowing they will be able to perform the required movements! The Northeast series is being brought to you as a mini series for 2011, with plans to broaden the base for 2012!
