Benchmark Thursday’s continue on in full force! We do want our members to push themselves and set that bar high, but first and foremost we  want you to be safe and injury-free. Today’s workout “Mary” contains a high volume of pull ups. If you are a newbie, please be aware of the dangers of rhabdomyolysis, but understand our coaches are trained to scale workouts to every athlete and keep you safe. We will be going over and prescribing lower number of pull ups, ring rows and jumping pull ups for those still new to the movements.

    9+8 rx. Slow n steady. About a 4 round improvement from 1.5 years ago. Some awesome 530 work getting done this am, with wheelhouse work as goat work. All awesome stuff.
    Birthday burpees done with Laurence, Quigs, Marc, and Bhavesh. Thanks for helping me with them!

    1+0 Rx. Those were the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th HSPU I have ever done in my life. Took ~8 minutes and at least 20 failed attempts to get through them. Then couldnt get another one for the ~10 minutes I had left. Whatever, I am stoked I got 5.

    Big scores from the ladies and gents at 5:30 and 6:30 this morning! Very impressive!

    Did yesterday’s workout: HBBS 285×8, modified metcon to be 200m run instead of 50 DU’s – > got 60 power cleans @135

    Ben, I didn’t realize how often our shirts matched. Yesterday during class, now today on the blog.
    5+24 RX. That’s a big success for me. If you threw in Front Squats for strength this would have been goat day.
