Ohhh How I’ve Missed You Cindy

A quick note on tape – where able, please use sparingly.  Most boxes charge $3+/roll, we currently provide it for free.  To keep it that way, please try not to mummify yourself before every WOD.  A box of tape runs just under $80 and we easily go through 4+ boxes per month.

Remember…Endurance Program is being run today at 6:30pm in front of Southie Green. Brogan’s gonna bring the heat with a sweet workout and tons of entertainment. Also the B man is putting Minimus training shoes on the feet of the top three MEN & top three WOMEN finisher’s for the Aug 3rd Crossfit Southie 5K. So keep training you might stylin’ some new kicks soon!

    Great job everyone who PR’d!!! This was a great one. Cindy: 13 rounds even, purple band for pull-ups and knee push ups (def a weak spot to work on).

    9 rounds RX… Also my first workout with unassisted pull-ups! The push-ups were tough. Recovering from a little bike accident as well, so I’m looking forward to crushing this score next time!

    15+6 Rx.. I know I PR’d by a good 3 rounds from a long time ago. But hopefully I can hit 18+ next time we do it!

    – Brownie managed to SATURATE a pair of gymnastic grips with blood tonight, I’m positive had he wanted to he could have wrung them out like a shamwow.
    – Awesome milestone for Kendra, first wod of unassisted pullups and she banged out 50 of them.
    – Lots of new faces with awesome attitudes at the 7pm tonight.

    4-rep PR, I’ll take it, push-ups are still the bottleneck for me.

    9+12 Rx! (first time doing pullups without a band in the workout)

    holy humidity wreaked havoc on my hands – 3 rips, but not even close to how bad mike’s were (barf)….

    First Cindy ever, 15+5 RX. Push-ups got slow in the middle. tried to stick with the “butterfly” on the pullups. butterfly is in quotes because I’m not sure if what I was doing at the end would be described as a butterfly by anyone that knew what they were looking at, but they’re getting closer thanks to the pullup seminar.

    At only $10.00 anyone can buy a case of 4 rolls of tape from stop & shop, or walgreens. Amazon or ebay may have better deas but you have to wait a few days for delivery. I think the 4 rolls comes in handy as it is easy to be carried in your backpack or small gym bag and will last for a while, but you need to shop around sometimes to get a good deal.
