Calling all First Responders

METRO SWAT & GILLETTE STADIUM TO HOST BOSTON STRONG RESPONDERS WORKOUT MARATHON
John O’Brien is looking for about 3 more first responders or veterans to add to his team.
The details are still coming out in regards to what the challenge is going to consist of and fundraising.
Each team of 10-12 needs to raise a minimum of $2600 for the entry fee. All proceeds will benefit Offc. Sean Collier, Offc. Dick Donohue, and the One fund.

Regional WOD #4
100 Wallballs (20,14)
100 C2B pull-ups
100 Alternating Pistols
100 Single Arm Alternating Dumbbell/Kettlebell Snatches (70,50)

Level 3- (75/55), 75 reps of each with db or kettlebell (53,35)
Level 2- 50 Reps of each, Barbell snatches (95,65)
Level 1- 35 reps of each, barbell snatches (65,35)

    Really enjoyed tonight’s workout.
    WOD: 22:36 (65 reps, B/R pull-ups, assisted pistols, 20 lb db snatches)

    327 reps RX in the 30 minutes. Then did another 43 reps to end on a nice 370 reps. I can’t move.

    Tonite’s wod got smoked…100 ball to wall, 75 chest to bar, 75 pistols and 75 dumbell snatches 33:00 min #crossfit#elitefitness

      Daayamn! Didn’t realize you hit it so hard!

      Having watched the likes of Spencer Hendel and Daniel Tyminksi do the WOD on Saturday I knew I wanted nothing to do with Rx. I looked at the Toasters scaling and saw the Open level was 60 reps and figured that was appropriate.

      WOD: 29:03 (60 reps, 50# db snatches)

      Rep scaling seemed perfect as I pushed on the snatches to get in under the 30 min cap. Pistols are still slow as hell for me as every right-leg rep is a struggle, still feels great doing them Rx after 2 years of assistols though. And any time I can bang out over 50 pullups without ripping my hands is a great day.

      ASH-MO AND HENRY both made their return from the abyss tonight!
