THIS IS SOO SAD! We have almost 250 members and there are only 4 people have raised money for Fight Gone Bad!! It is really easy to register. This is one of CrossFit’s only fundraisers, please take part and make a difference in the families of fallen Special Forces Warriors, and injured Special Forces Warriors themselves. As a little incentive, we will give a a free one month unlimited membership to whoever raises the most money for the cause.

Fight Gone Bad began as a fund-raising event in 2006. From those humble beginnings and with the support of the CrossFit community, we’ve proven what a small, totally committed group of people can accomplish. The first five editions of Fight Gone Bad have raised a combined total of more than $4 million.

*We will be performing FGB VI here at Southie on the 17th, only a month away.  If you would like to support the cause please register/donate here.

*We’re adding L1/L2 classes on Friday night.  Going forward there will be a 5:00pm and 6:00pm L1/L2 class in Southie Green on Fridays.  Sunday we will be hosting the movement and mobility certification with KStar.  We will be making some schedule changes to accommodate the seminar as well as the members participating.  All classes on Sunday will be held in Southie Green.  We will add a 7:30-9 Advanced/Open Gym for anyone that would like to come in for some non-instructed gym time.  We will also have the regularly scheduled 9am class but will be canceling the 10am class.  Yoga with Kim will still be on for Sunday.  All changes can be found on the google calendar. *

    I got into a wall handstand hold on my own for the first time ever today. I think it’s about equivalent to climbing Mount Everest. 😛 Patience. Progress. Perseverance. Performance.

    Felt like shit today had a dirty bacon cheeseburger, fries and a budlight at a business lunch didnt help the situation…need to get to the paleo challenge and whip out my bow and arrow and do me some caveman hunting!

    8+5 Rx. The garage door pull-up bar and I need some time apart.

    Did some back squats afterwards, working up to single reps at 225, 235, 245 and 255.

    Crowley killed it during the 6 AM. Get that kid to the Garage Games!

    Look Ma No Hands!

    I wish I could do the FGB VI event, I have groomsman duties that day for a buddy’s wedding. Although, I won’t be there I will be giving to someone’s fund raising effort.
