Join the 2016 CrossFit Team Series!
Are you itching to compete after watching the CrossFit Games on TV this summer? Do you miss the excitement of the Open? Or perhaps just looking for another excuse to throw down with your friends? Look no further! The CrossFit Team Series is back… and we’d love to have a bunch of teams from CrossFit Southie participating!

The Team Series is similar to the CrossFit Open, where the workouts will be released online and need to be completed and submitted within a certain time frame. However, this time you get to compete with friends! Each time is made up of two male and two female athletes. Once the workouts are released, your team can decide to complete them as either Rx or Scaled. You can even complete one workout Rx and the next as scaled… so everybody can participate! The first set of workouts will be released on September 6th, and need to be completed within 6 days. The second set will come out on October 4th.

A few teams from the gym participated last year and had a blast. It’s a no-pressure way to have some fun with your workout buddies, push yourselves a little bit harder than you think you can go, and throw your hat in the ring for some friendly competition! Registration is $20 per person ($80 for the team). Registration is live now, so start assembling your dream team and get signed up! If you’re interested in participating but don’t have a full team, post to the comments or talk to a coach and we’ll help you find some people. Let’s have some fun!
