On Saturday, July 13th the we will be doing this memorial WOD to help benefit the victims of the devestating tornado back in May. Since classes will be following a normal schedule you do not need to register for the event, but if you are willing to give a $10.00 donation or purchase a shirt, it all goes to the relief effort. TAKE ACTION AND SUPPORT MOORE, OKLAHOMA AND THE TORNADO RECOVERY FUND BY COMPETING IN A WHIRLWIND OF 2 CHALLENGES IN THE SPAN OF A SINGLE HOUR.
Proceeds from the event will go to benefit the American Red Cross of Eastern and Central Oklahoma and directly support the rebuilding of the Community.
Recovery takes time, and it’s not an instant fix. This community needs lasting support. And though the Oklahoma dusts might have settled, our attention is needed more than ever.
Here’s how YOU can help.
The WOD memorializes the 5/20/13 date of the tornado.
1. Take 15 minutes to build up to:
- 1RM Clean (Squat Clean or Power Clean are acceptable)
- 20 Burpee Lateral Bar Hops
- 13 Squat Cleans (135/95)
