Good Luck, Masters! – CFS

Steve

Good Luck to our Masters Athletes – Masters Qualifier is THIS Weekend!
We want to wish the best of luck to Brian Campbell, Cindy Ewing and Bob Caslin as they take on the Masters Online Qualifier this weekend, the next step in competition in making it to the CrossFit Games! In order to move onto this round of competition, you have to place in the top 200 in the WORLD in your age division in the CrossFit Open. Brian finished in 157th place out of 38106 competitors in the 35-39 Division. Cindy finished in 186th place out of 1574 competitors in the 60+ division. This will be their first time taking on the Masters Qualifier and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish! We’re already so proud.

Bob finished in 10th place out of 9231 competitors. In 2015 & 2016, Bob finished in the Top 20 in the Online qualifier and moved onto the CrossFit Games, where he finished in 3rd place IN THE WORLD! Though he has moved and now trains at CrossFit Garden City in NY, he will always be a part of the CrossFit Southie family. He has been training hard and we are looking forward to seeing him fight for his return trip to the Games so that he can defend his podium spot!

These athletes will be taking on four workouts over the next four days. Similar to the Open, they will submit their scores online to be ranked. The Top 20 athletes in each division will move on to the Games. Leave your well wishes for them in the comments, and if you see them around the box, be sure to give them high fives and wish them luck. We know you will make Southie proud! Good luck and have some fun!
