Here’s your weekly reminder that all Open scores must be submitted to the Games site by 8pm EST tonight, no exceptions! We’ve had a few issues with the tiebreak time being entered incorrectly, so please enter your score as soon as possible so we can make sure the correct score is submitted prior to the deadline. Thank you!

Calling all runners…and beer drinkers. CrossFit Southie is putting together a team to run the Spring Classic 5K on Cambridge Sunday, April 27th. This is an individual 5K race but if we get 20+ members by 4/12 to join our team we will get a tent and all the beer we can drink post race. This is a great opportunity to test your fitness outside the box as well as meet and mingle with new members.

    c&j: 125 x2, hit 135 x1just couldn’t hit the second jerk.

    14.3 re test. 82 up from 75. I was aiming for 90+ but I’ll take 82.

    Haven’t done a 5K in over 15 years, but why the heck not? All signed up! And I’ll at least have a baseline 5K time to enter into the CrossFit Games website. JBo loves logging his numbers.
    Hadn’t done 14.3 yet so I did that instead of today’s workout. Got 93. Content but not thrilled with the score. Should’ve gone faster earlier on because I needed time to recuperate between each of the reps at 275lbs. Looking forward to retesting this one in several months’ time. I’m actually really enjoying this Open so far. Not that I’m getting amazing scores, but that in each one so far I’ve accomplished something I was absolutely incapable of doing last year at this time. 14.1 = set of 30 unbroken dubs. 14.2 = 95lb OH squats. 14.3 = 275lb deadlifts. Bring on 14.4!
    And since I skipped the workout, decided to practice a bit on dubs. I’m loving my new rope. Got a set of 40 unbroken dubs, which is a 9-rep PR!
    Also a shout out to Thomas you did an awesome job on the 14.3 retest. Improved his 106 all the way up to 110. Only needed 5 more reps to finish all 25 of the 275lb-ers. Great job buddy.

    205# x 2 on the C&J. stayed there for an extra set.
    17:13RX WOD. That was heavy.
    Ghost town this morning! 3 people at 5:30AM, 3 people doing 14.3, 3 people at 6:30AM.
