One of our members who has been on hiatus is performing in the Slutcracker at Somerville theater this Friday and Saturday (10th and 11th) and next weekend excluding Friday, and that following week (Dec. 10th-16th, check the link for dates and times for the shows and to purchase tickets). There is a group getting together this Friday at 8pm to see the show. Chris and I are going to buy tickets for Sunday December 11th, for 2pm show because we act like we are an elderly couple. Probably going to hit up redbones after or before. Regardless, you should buy tickets to see this! Looks like a lot of fun!

    hey team, i just did another endurance wod – thanks aaron for sharing gem.

    mile warm up
    4 rounds running with a 20lb vest, resting the time it takes to complete each interval
    mile cool down (vest free, felt so good)

    running with a vest is awkward. it is difficult to run fast and breathe regularly but it was a good one, can’t wait to do it again!

    1) I love that this is posted here. I am showing to everyone and bragging about what a supportive community Crossfit Southie is.

    2) Slutcracker dates are December 2nd-24th, but I am in “Cast A”: Dec 2, Dec 3 (this weekend), Dec 10-16, and Dec 19. So if you go, go then!! (and you most definitely should go!)

    3) I am at THREE unassisted pullups, not fantastic but enough to impress all my weakling dancer friends. New goal: 20 by March.

    In regards to the Crossfit Endurance programming etc, I spoke with Maze and Amy about it. My plan is to meet up with whomever on Sunday after the classes (so 11am) to get an intro on CFE (running/rowing techniques), do an Endurance WOD, and sort of make a plan from there (future programming and meeting up during open gym times).

    (Think the Chris Farley Show)…Hi…uh…Remember that time…when..uhh…we did all those AMRAPs…in..ahhh…last year’s Crossfit Open…yeahh…that was sweeettt

    Slutcracker looks pretty sweet. And RedBones is pretty solid for grub.

    slutcracker is awesome!! saw it last year…hula hoopers are the best!
