The Scavenger Hunt will begin at 9:30 on Saturday.ย  We will be meeting outside of the Park St train station to allow us to make it to more places in the City.ย  This is your WOD for the day. Be prepared to run!ย  There will be no formal classes but we will have open gym from 12-3 ย  Last year we had 40+ peeps participate, don’t miss out.ย  To sign up please click here. Please be sure to arrive before 9 to take advantage of the food and to miss the cover.

This week there is a special bonus for all who attend on Sunday at 10am.

Tamara did her teacher training through Baron Baptiste’s studio in Cambridge and they have been nice enough to give away a “1 free class pass” for everyone who comes to her class this Sunday (no cap on this, everyone will get a free pass!). Their website is www.baronbaptiste.com and they have studios in both Brookline and Cambridge. The value of 1 class is normally $16. Their studio offers beginner classes & restorative for people to work on their mobility/flexibility.

    EMOM: worked up to 215# (PR for clean and jerk . . . makes me want to max out w/ clean and split jerk)

    WOD: 10:54 — almost RX (135# hang cleans but used 1 Abmat during HSPUs)

    Strength: worked up to 195. Failed 205 on final round.
    WOD 14:00 #135 pike pushups
    Good to be back in the gym after a few days of much needed rest. I should have lifted that 205. Power clean was super sloppy. Next time!
