    That was a fun one. Good thing I was too asleep at 5.30 am to realize what I was getting myself into. 175 x 5 on the DL, 13.50 on the WOD.

    Contrast mentod is awesome!! Although some people say it’s not scientifically proven to improve recovery more than ice alone – I believe in the placebo if that’s the case.

    Great article from John Welbourne on the importance of rest and recovery and various ways to do it. I’m interested in trying the contrast method. Although my brain is telling me I shouldn’t stand in a cold shower in the middle of winter.
