Felt good getting up early and working out! Enjoyed meeting some new people today. This WOD was one for the books.
    Time: 36 min, L1/L2

It was great (brutal) to squeeze this in before my flight this morning. Went past 35 minutes with various substitutions. The runs seemed like they would never end. Great job everyone!

This was amazing…Between the energy of the 11:00, Amy running one of the last 400s with me and Goosedaddy cheering me on (with pretty much the entire 11 am crew) through the squat cleans. I am humbled yet again by this INCREDIBLE community. Pouring cool water over my thick, curly headed coiffure was the only thing that got me through each 400, thanks to Amy for that!! Happy 4th y’all!

    WOD: 39:00 and some change, 185/1.5/65/blue & red/20/85

There was no way I wasn’t going to finish this shit, no matter how long it was gonna take me, thanks to Amy, Goose and the 11:00 for sticking it out with me!!!

Is it wrong that such images of Boyson pop into my head whenever I think of anything patriotic?

These holiday classes always feel special. Great atmosphere in the gym today.

‘Lumberjack 20’: DNF Rx @ 35 min cutoff
(5 deadlifts, KB swings, 2 runs to go)

Started on OHS, felt great, as soon as I went out the door for the first run, train-wreck. Looking forward to besting that next year, someday finishing.

Im gonna dream tonight about how I’m gonna go absolutely HAM on this WOD. 8am see you then!

    • Mike Brown 07/04/2013 at 2:45 pm

So I didn’t go HAM, but I finished!! 37 minutes RX. Only thing I went HAM on was the dead lifts, 20 nonstop. from that point forward I was a floppy goat. Running is my kryptonite.

After class did some bench work then cheered on the 9am Beasts.

Those dudes/chicks put in some work!
