Caitlin has been a member for a long time now and is usually seen crushing WODs in the 4:00pm class. Caitlin pays attention to detail, is super friendly when grouping up on the platforms and is ALWAYS looking to push herself. Most recently she tried advancing to a higher box for a workout and said “I’ll keep the 20″ near me in case I want to scale down” – Instead the box just stood there as she dominated all of the reps at 24″. Your hard work and determination does not go unnoticed!

Th 2015 CrossFit Open is Upon us! How’s the training coming? The 2015 Open registration is currently live. The first workout will be released on Thursday, February 26th at 8 pm! As the growth of the worldwide CrossFit community explodes, the 2015 season promises to be the biggest and best yet. In 2011, more than 26,000 athletes registered for the Open. In 2012, that number jumped to almost 70,000 participants. And last year in 2014, over 209,000 people participated. We can only imagine what this year has in store as it will be simultaneously the fiercest and most inclusive competition we’ve ever seen.

Five weeks for the Open: Feb. 26-March 30, 2015
15.1: Feb. 26 -March 2
15.2: March 5-9
15.3: March 12-16
15.4: March 19-23
15.5: March 26-30

Open WOD 14.2
Every 3 minutes for as long as possible complete:
From 0:00-3:00
2 rounds of:
10 overhead squats
10 chest-to-bar pull-ups
From 3:00-6:00
2 rounds of:
12 overhead squats
12 chest-to-bar pull-ups
From 6:00-9:00
2 rounds of:
14 overhead squats
14 chest-to-bar pull-ups
Etc., following same pattern until you fail to complete both rounds
*Scale appropriately so you get through at least 2-3 rounds.

Level 2 (75,55), Increase by 1 rep
Level 1 (55,35), no increase in reps- 8 reps of each
