Nutrition Challenge Kick-off Lecture TONIGHT at 7pm!
If you’re interested in participating in the upcoming Nutrition Challenge, you won’t want to miss tonight’s kick-off lecture. At this meeting, we’ll go over the ins and outs of the rules of the challenge, discuss any questions you have about the challenge and/or food, and get ready to kick things off on Sunday! Remember, this is an entirely new TEAM format for the challenge, so even if you have done challenges here in the past, we highly recommend that you attend this meeting. This is also your chance to meet Michelle Boutet, our in-house Registered Dietitian.
The group will meet at 7pm in Southie Green – most likely in the back room, aka the pain cave. We hope to see lots of you there!

*If you can’t make the meeting but plan to participate in the challenge, please sign up HERE if you haven’t already. This is important so that we can get you all of the information that you need AND make sure you get added to a team!

Reebok will be in the house today during all morning and evening classes. We’re psyched that CrossFit Southie is one of their stops along the way on their cross-country box crawl. They’ll have a full set up including a chance to try on the new Nano 6.0, as well as pre and post-WOD refreshments from Kill Cliff, tape from Goat Tape, and hand care lotion from WOD Repair. Be sure to swing by today in Southie Green to check out the set up, try on some shoes and say hello!

I can’t comment on the Goat Tape (I don’t even know what that is), but for anyone who is currently looking for new gym shoes, I highly recommend you check out the Nano 6.0 if at the gym today. I picked up a pair a few weeks ago and really love them. I have wide feet and I was afraid they would be too tight but they feel great- they’re light enough for running (and very comfortable) and other light bodyweight movements, but still have good support for heavy lifting and OLY stuff. Plus, they look pretty cool, and they’re made with kevlar!
