Coming Soon: 2016 Fall Nutrition Challenge
With the summer barbecues and parties coming to a close, itโs time to dial in our nutrition again and get back on track! Not only does proper nutrition help us feel and look our best, it is critical to optimal performance in the gym. Whether youโve been CrossFitting for years or just getting started, getting a handle on how to properly fuel your body will take you to the next level in training.
Weโre excited to offer a brand new twist on the paleo/nutrition challenge this time around! This will be a six-week challenge focused on cleaning up your diet and learning how to fuel to optimize performance and results both inside and outside of the gym. So whatโs different? This time around, weโll be working in TEAMS! Teams will add an extra level of accountability, motivation, and FUN! Much like we all work harder during a partner workout, we hope youโll all be more likely to stick with the challenge if you know your teammates are counting on you.
In addition to the team element, weโll be adding in some periodic in-person check-ins with our in-house Registered Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist, Michelle Boutet. Sheโll be with you every step of the way โ from the kick-off lecture through the Wrap-Up Party/Potluck (yes, there will be a party!) to help hold you accountable and answer any questions you may have.
Whether you are brand new to CrossFit and havenโt given nutrition a second thought, or have been counting your macros for months, this new nutrition challenge will definitely help you stay focused and committed to your goals and see some changes over the six weeks. We hope to have a large group this time aroundโฆ the more, the merrier! Grab your friends and get ready to kick things off after Labor Day!
