Hollow Rock Challenge Week 4: 40 Hollow Rocks

Overhead Squat

50 Barbell Thrusters
30 Pull ups

The prescribed weight is a 45 lb bar for both the men and ladies. Scale weight and pull-ups as necessary.

    100# OHS x 3 – I think that’s a PR. Big thanks to Angela and Andrea for lifting with me :). PRed Jackie by1:20 for a 9:36 !!! Woooo! And another big thanks to coach berretta for not letting us look a the bar or walk to the pull-up structure !

    OHS: 100×3 (PR by 15lbs!) – After 22 months at CFS, I think something finally clicked today! Miracles do happen!
    Jackie: 12:58 Rx (tons of room for improvement but this is actually a PR by 1 minute and 51 sec) – Thanks to the 4:30pm-ers for cheering me on through each of the last several pull ups!

    OHS 95#. Started too low…but hey, it was 5:30AM.

    My Jackie time from May was closer to 8 minutes..
    7:15 Rx this am.
    155 x3
    Didn’t manage the time well.
    Had to break thrusters up into 30 then 20. Pull-ups were 15 10 5…
    Marc went unbroken on all, beast! Cashouts paying off.

    May ’13 – 6:21
    Jan ’14 – 6:15
    195×3 is a 20lb PR for the 3 rep

    175×3, 185×2 – #2 was wobbly, then shoulders gave out on #3.
    7:57 for Jackie. First time doing that one. pull ups ground to a near halt by the end, they went something like 10-5-5-2-2-2-2-1-1. forearms are burnin.
    Congrats to everyone from Southie that competed this weekend at the ECC. I was proud to see Pat P. and TWO Southie teams hold their own against games competitors and all-star teams hand-picked from multiple boxes across the country. Nice work guys.
