    38:44, DU attempts (goat), box for pistols, red bands for HSPU. So pumped I did all 50 pullups without a band – thanks for the cheering section mooch!

    WOD: 42: and change.
    pull-ups with a red/ring push-ups walked out/AP/HSPUs with green&blue and it still took me almost twice as long, woof.
    I am absolutely amazed at the times for this WOD. Athletes (thanks for that Coach Jones) were killing it! For me, this WOD was a major goat sandwich, even though we all know I love a good chippah. I’m sure you’ll all agree with the thought that even though this was like 6 movement weaknesses of mine, I knew I had to come out and get it done…I mean, how else am I going to get any better, right? Watching some of my fellows classmates own this WOD was beyond inspiring to push on and one day prevail.

    WOD: 45:23 Rx

    What a way to cap off the week. My shoulders completely burnt out with 1 HSPU left, it took me over 5 minutes to get the 10th. Next time I’m in that situation I need to stop and take the time to fully recharge to get it rather than rush it, miss multiple attempts, and end up taking longer. Despite probably throwing up the slowest time of the gym, and the grimace I had on my face through most of the wod, I actually enjoyed this one a lot. I get why Nicole loves chippers so much, it’s fun getting to go through a bunch of different movements, just get through that one you don’t like and you don’t have to do it again. Thanks to the coaches for letting me finish after the cutoff, appreciated.

      I’ve personally seen the most improvement by pushing myself to do workouts Rx if I can. So I think you took the best approach. Keep up the good work man.

      Way to stick that one out Barrow. Those HSPUs got me at the end too. Nothing worse than failing that last rep – took me 3 tries today – but nothing better than finally getting it and being done.
      Chris – nice work today. Pretty sure you’ve been in every sat class I’ve ever gone to – and I feel like Saturdays are always a little more spicy than the weekdays.

    37:24 RX. Everything after the burpees took forever. A few months ago I didn’t have HSPU and two weeks ago I didn’t have pistols, so Im just glad to get through it RX. Failed a bunch of times on the HSPU’s. good to see Amy jumping in with the 8am crew. And the toasties were putting on a strongman/strongwoman show – kegs, farmers carries, atlas stones.
    now Im going to go sit on the beach for a week on the cape. Have a great week CFS.
