    Good luck to everyone tomorrow!!!

Jaime I was addicted to diet coke too! I have been diet coke free since Paleo started. I transitioned to green tea for caffeine and Seltzer water ( for the carbonation) and wow no band pullups!!!! Impressive! That’s my goal! Any tips?

    Nice Jaime!

I like the description of using a slow cooker in that article- if we’re going to be busy some night but still want a really good meal we prep the ingredients for a roast the night before and put it in the slow cooker pot and put that in the fridge. In the morning we pop the slow cooker pot onto the slow cooker and turn it on and we have a delicious dinner ready with no prep work at the end of the day. Plus you can use cheaper and tougher cuts of meat because the long slow cook time makes anything tender and delicious. If you have a big enough slow cooker you can also do multiple meals worth of food in one shot if you put enough meat and veggies in the pot.

That’s actually what I ate last night, and the leftovers are sitting next to me getting ready to be eaten soon! I’m getting hungry!

That’s a really good article Alec, I was addicted to diet coke and still had some the first week of the paleo challenge but started to wean myself off. I was definitely addicted to it and it made me crave sweets even more! Now I don’t even think it tastes good! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Good luck tomorrow!

I found this post on the Paleo Table. Click on “read more” and it will bring you to her weekly column on Robb Wolf’s site. It’s a long post about prepping a week’s worth (or more) of paleo meals. It’s really helpful with meal planning and ideas, especially if you don’t have the time to cook a meal everyday during the week.

Good luck to our competitors tomorrow!

215 on thruster, 7 something on the ADV WOD.

For those wondering why diet soda is on the no-no paleo list, MDA had a pretty good write up the other day talking about diet soda:
