regionals team

Regionals is THIS Weekend!
Best of luck to our Regionals team who kick off competition at the East Regional today! Simply qualifying for Regionals is an amazing accomplishment. When the Open started back in January, 402 teams from the North East region were vying for 15 spots to compete at the Regional. CrossFit Southie came in tenth place out of 402 teams! This weekend, they will compete head to head with the top 15 teams from the Northeast, and the top 15 teams from Canada East.

This year, CrossFit Southie will be represented out on the Regional floor by Goose, Dale Kearney, Brendan Caslin, Gill Pressman, Melissa McManus and Margaret Bray. They have been training hard for this all year long and we know they will represent CrossFit Southie well. Best of luck, team!

If you’re heading to Regionals, be sure to wear your Southie Green! We will lock down a cheering section to route for the team together. Coach Bradley will be leading the charge. If you aren’t making the trek to Albany, tune in to live stream at http://games.crossfit.com/ As of right now, their heats will be between 9 and 1 each morning. We will also be streaming on the big screen at the box. GO SOUTHIE!
