*Weekend Schedule Update* – We’re having some brand spankin’ new pull up bahhh’s installed in Southie HQ, the newest addition to Green, this weekend. We are going to keep the L1/L2 classes but will have to cancel the 12pm open gym. 1pm open gym will be held in Southie Orange but please be patient as the intro class can sometimes run 5-10 minutes over. All later classes will be held in Southie Orange. We will also open up the box at 730am for non instructed open gym if anyone is interested. As for Sunday, yoga will be moved from 10am in Southie Green to 11am in Southie Orange. Thank you for you consideration.
IN HOUSE THROWDOWWWNN! Yes, it is the event you have all been waiting for- a CrossFit Southie exclusive individual competition. This is going to be a great day and we hope that we get a lot of participation. There will be a men’s and a women’s division separated by ability levels, even if you are a newbie you are encouraged to take part. There will be 3 different WODs over a 4-5 hour period, followed by a BBQ. The event is Saturday, May 12th starting at 9am. I am looking for volunteers and judges, if you can commit please email me at [email protected]. There is a $25 buy-in for competitors. MaRaThOn MoNdAy- I would like to get a group of people together to watch the marathon. My plan is to head down to the route around 10am. I am not opposed to walking from here if anyone is interested in doing that. The T can be silly on marathon day and the back bay is only 1 mile from here. Miss Leann and Coach Chuckles, in addition to a bunch of other CrossFit Southie faithfuls, are running and I want to catch them in action possibly while wearing some CF southie gear.
