    JBo,

I don’t have anything specific that I’ve been doing. I think a big part of it though is about not always pushing a one rep max until I fail. I’m sure this is controversial, but a PR is a PR. I prefer to hit a new PR as opposed to trying to hit a number that I know I want to hit down the line. This way I work my form a bit more in the process. I’m not saying I mail it in on 1 rep max days I just don’t try to fail too much. Not sure if any of this makes sense to others but it does in my head anyway. hope this helps

Thanks for the insight, Marc…and that makes perfect sense. Getting a 5lb PR AND improving your form in the process is a win-win situation.
But a 25lb PR on squat clean up to 260lbs is just HUGE!!!

Monster turnout Tuesdays in effect! We may need to move 530 Tuesdays into the larger new digs.
    260 is a 25 lb PR

You’ve been posting some pretty amazing PR’s over the past couple of months, Marc. Congrats and way to go! What’s your secret?

He pushes himself non-stop.. and he drinks pureed raw beef/turkey/chicken/cat food(?), veggies, and diesel on his ride in.
