Save the Date! 2015 Southie Showdown: November 7th & 8th

On November 7th and 8th, we will be hosting the 2015 Southie Showdown; an annual individual competition. The two-day competition is designed for new competitors, fire-breathers, and everyone in between. It is a last chance to compete hard in the crisp fall air before the winter rolls in, against athletes from all over New England. This is a two-day competition, with both Rx and Scaled divisions. We’ll post more details and standards soon, but mark those calendars and keep training hard!

ADV- SDHSPU 2 45lb plates, 1 45lb plate, C2B Pull-ups (bfly and then strict)

    WOD: 22:10 Rx – rowing instead of running in the rain did not make all that pulling any easier.

    WOD: 28:18 with some serious scaling and a few omissions.

    Rowed 800s with one leg due to the ankle being a mess – thanks Julie for setting me up with that.
    No pistols/no air squats/strict HSPUs 5,4,3
    So much better than sitting on the couch.
