Zach had moved through his fitness journey from different types of workout programs or fads, but just never found the solution that provided sustainable results. In 2013, he found CrossFit Southie and that all changed. Zach has been able to push himself beyond what he thought were his limits and show vast improvement both physically and mentally.
His philosophy is simple- Give back to athletes what has been given to him. Strive to make it the best hour of each athlete’s day through great coaching, a positive environment and a challenging workout.
Zach truly believes in Crossfit’s saying that “our fitness needs vary only by degree, not by kind.” He has seen athletes of all ages and stages attack workouts with intensity and yield major results in a short amount of time. His best advice for newcomers is that CrossFit works, so step out of your comfort zone and see what you are capable of!
Zach grew up in Hampstead, New Hampshire and graduated from St. Anselm College with a degree in Business. Zach attained his Level 1 certificate in May of 2015 and successfully completed CrossFit Southie’s intern program in the Fall of 2015.
