Joclyn Belanger grew up in Danvers, Massachusetts playing soccer and running track. Running was her main form of activity throughout college, when an injury forced her to recognize the importance of incorporating strength training.
She started at a Crossfit gym in New Hampshire while completing her degree in nutrition at UNH. She then moved on to complete her masters in Exercise and Health Science from UMass Boston, this past year.
Joclyn also coached at CrossFit 617 in Dorchester for a year and worked as a nutrition coach at a small group training studio all while working out at CFSouthie and pursuing her masters. Recently out of school, Joclyn is excited to apply her knowledge and experience to the CFS community.
