What is CrossFit Southie Bootcamp?
Interested in getting in shape, but not sure if you are ready for CrossFit classes? Our CrossFit Southie Bootcamp program is the perfect fit! This program is a community-based, high energy, circuit conditioning workout without the use of barbells or high skill gymnastics. This program is more challenging than your average bootcamp, but a little less intense than CrossFit.
The primary focus of this program is on conditioning through running, rowing, and calisthenics, along with the use of kettlebells, medicine balls, sleds, tires, and bodyweight exercises. Our program is constantly varied, meaning each class will bring a whole new workout with different movements, time domains, and formats. We do our best to keep it interesting and fun! This program is great for weight loss, extra conditioning training, or as a ramp-up for our CrossFit program.
You will train with like-minded individuals under the guidance and programming of our skilled coaches. In addition to guiding you through fun, varied workouts, we’ll also provide weekly emails with important information about nutrition and recovery to help take your training and results to the next level.
As an added bonus, we have plenty of space in our 15,000 square foot facility! We’ll work both indoors and outdoors, but our Bootcamp program will not be sidelined by rain or cold days!
CrossFit Southie Bootcamp meets Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 6:30AM for a one hour session.
Who is CrossFit Southie Bootcamp For?
Everyone! The CrossFit Southie Bootcamp program is open to all fitness levels – from your seasoned gym rat to a total newbie, and everyone in between! All of our workouts can be scaled to be appropriate for your current fitness level. Our primary concern is always on safe movement, so we will always teach movements before performing them in a workout.
What is included in a CrossFit Southie Bootcamp Membership?
For $149 per month, you’ll be able to join us for up to 6 classes per week! In addition to our 3 weekly bootcamp sessions (Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 6:30-7:30AM), you also have access to three FREE bonus classes! Read below for more info on the bonus classes:
Endurance Class (Mondays & Thursdays, 4:45pm – 5:30pm)
This class focuses on building our engines using 3 modalities- rowing, biking, and running. The class will be mostly in interval format, but some days will also involve us going long and steady. What is different from this class compared to others out there is that we strive to make each class goal orientated with each modality. This class will not have any jump roping, box jumps, etc.
Mobility Class (Saturdays, 12pm – 1pm)
After a long week of training, our bodies can feel pretty run down and beat up. Recovery is vital to our success in the gym. We can train hard and eat right, but if we’re not taking care of our bodies, we’ll never achieve our true performance potential. Join us every Saturday at 12pm for an hour of rolling, stretching, and recovery. Each week will hit the total body. This class is the perfect way to cool down after a Saturday morning workout, or move a bit on your off day. Set yourself up for success for the following week by spending an hour taking care of yourself over the weekend.
