Callahan Family Fundraiser – CFS

Fundraiser to Benefit Callahan Family TODAY during all Classes
Ten-year old Ben Callahan died tragically on Friday, July 7th in a horrible accident after he slipped and fell into the Branford River. Though only ten years old, Ben was a stand-out athlete, playing football, basketball, and lacrosse. He was also a member of Shoreline CrossFit in Connecticut, where his dad Dave is a coach. Dave Callahan has been a long-time member of the CrossFit community, and many of us competed against him at Regionals several times. He was always kind, outgoing, and friendly – even during intense competition. Our hearts break for him and his family.

We’d like to send the Callahan Family and the entire Shoreline CrossFit community our support during this tragic time. We will be hosting a fundraiser WOD THIS Saturday during all classes to collect donations.

It will be a partner WOD, so please feel free to bring a friend. No pre-registration or prior experience with CrossFit is required. In lieu of drop-in fees, we instead ask for cash donations to send to the Callahan family.

Donations can also be made online by clicking HERE. Let’s rally together to show the Callahans how strong the CrossFit community really is! We thank you in advance for your support.
